Denmark had the fourth highest share of renewable energy sources in its total energy supply in 2019, with 44.5%. It is a pioneer in wind power development, and also has significant biomass and solar resources.
New Zealand had the fifth highest share of renewable energy sources in its total energy supply in 2019, with 41.6%. It is rich in geothermal, hydro, wind and solar resources, and aims to achieve 100% renewable electricity by 2030.
